Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸❤️
As someone who was born and raised in Venezuela, this day means more to me than I can put into words.
I know what it’s like to grow up in a country where freedom, opportunity, and hope slowly disappear. I know what it feels like to believe your future has already been decided for you.
The United States became my home. It’s where I found safety, where I built my family, and where I was finally given the opportunity to dream bigger than survival.
This country didn’t promise me success, but it gave me something incredibly valuable: the freedom to pursue it.
I’ll always be proud of where I come from, and I hope one day Venezuela can truly be free and celebrate.
My heart is broken for Venezuela but today I feel grateful for the country that welcomed me and gave me a chance to build a new life.
Happy Independence Day, and thank you, America. 🇺🇸❤️
