🪬🩵Vizcaya Museum & Gardens🩵🪬The beauty of Vizcaya was beyond my imagination and expectations. At its peak in the 1920s, the grounds were home to its original owner, John Deering. He curated art from classical antiquity, decorated the gardens with Renaissance statues, and even created a landscape labyrinth (which can be a powerful spiritual and meditative tool). 🐚🌀 Visiting former homes turned museums can be a contemplative and inspiring experience because of the “collected and curated” feeling produced by the personal style of the original owner/inhabitants.
